Most export catalogs quote a price and leave freight and duty for you to discover. Japanese consumer goods are light and cheap, so freight is not a rounding error — on a ¥450 face wash, air freight can cost more than the product. That single fact decides which lines are worth stocking.
Each line shows the mode its price was built on — courier, air or consolidated sea from Tokyo. The weight behind it is estimated from the pack size, and the allocation assumes a consolidated consignment rather than your actual order, so treat it as indicative. We requote freight against real weights on every order rather than hiding it in the unit price.
Export sales are zero-rated in Japan. We recover the 10% consumption tax on what we buy and pass the benefit into the price rather than keeping it quiet.
Every line shows the retail margin you would earn at the suggested retail price after duty, and states its basis: benchmarked against observed overseas retail comparables for its product class, modelled from a published Japanese RRP, or estimated by our pricing model. Lines that cannot clear a 35% buyer margin (US basis) are not listed at all.

| Regulatory | Cosmetics importers are responsible for their own market registration (US MoCRA, EU CPNP, and local equivalents). We supply ingredient and manufacturer documentation to support it. |
| Returns | Damage or shortage claims within 7 days of receipt with photographs. We do not accept returns for change of mind. |

Some brands restrict cross-border resale, and some marketplaces require authorised-distributor documentation we cannot provide. We flag known restrictions on the affected lines and will tell you before you order rather than after.
